Jewelry repairs and restorations are my immensely rewarding specialty, but custom jewelry gives my creativity a different type of outlet. I work in a variety of mediums depending on the needs of the project and am continually exploring new ways to mount stones, shape metal and decorate surfaces.

Sun Worshipper
This highly chatoyant stone LOVES the light! Mounted in sterling silver with 18k yellow prongs, this spectacular African red tiger eye is a real statement piece.
From bail to tip this pendant measures nearly 3 1/4".

7 Stone Necklace
For this project, I removed 7 diamonds from the old engagement ring mounting shown and fabricated a new 14k necklace bezel mounting.
Thank you to Morande Jewelers for having me make this lovely piece!

Peridot Bangle
This sterling silver bangle containing a 4mm bezel set peridot was created for Morande Jewelers in Tolland, CT.

Found Object Earrings
To make these high-power earrings, I cut the ends off two brass bullet casings, finished the backs and welded sterling silver posts in place.
Thank you to Morande Jewelers in Tolland, CT! What a fun project!

Stained Glass Lightning
This stunning example of Earth's beauty is from Arizona's Ray mine. It consists of gem silica with gem chrysocolla and malachite matrix accented with a mandarin garnet. I created this custom mounting in sterling silver with a 18k yellow gold bezel as well as 18k yellow gold prongs.
From bail to tip, it measures 2.34" long and is 1" wide.
This beautiful artisan cabochon was cut, shaped and polished by Erin Dana Balzrette of Tree Climbers Stones. To see more of her work, find her on my Links page!

Morrocan Seam Agate Pendant

14k Wedding Band
Sometimes, engagement rings have shapes that are a challenge when it's time to find a matching wedding band. This wedding band (top) was carved from wax and was designed to include a very sentimental family diamond.

Citrine Pendant in Sterling
The fiery color of this large 11.5mm Madeira Citrine really warms up a cold and snowy winter day! I handcrafted this basket mounting and textured bail from sterling silver. From top to bottom, this piece measures nearly 3/4".

Awareness Ribbons
My original awareness ribbon, shown in teal and pink for cervical and breast cancers, was created for Morande Jewelers in Tolland, CT.
After fabricating the metal model, I created a non-shrink RTV silicone mold of the pendant so that I could make the purple wax copies which can be cast in your choice of metals. Color inlays are available in resin or unleaded vitreous enamel.

Amethyst Shield Pendant
Sterling silver pendant containing a 10mm amethyst. Shown with commercial chain.

Perfect Summer Day
Larimar and citrine bezel-set in a custom 18k yellow gold pendant mounting. This is a large piece, nearly 1.75" in length. It reminds me of the sun over a clear mountain lake on the perfect summer day.

Forged Ring
This wedding band was forged from 2 solid pieces of metal to create one piece.

Helenite Pendant
Even though helenite is a created stone made from the fused volcanic ash of Mount St. Helens, its amazing color appeals to me. Bezel set in a custom sterling mounting.

Kokopelli in the Sun
I created these 100% custom sterling silver earrings with citrine earrings for one of my favorite clients.

Oxidized Swirls
After completing this sterling silver ring, I oxidized the metal to create a darker contrast on the low portions of the design.
