From the Dominican Republic, Larimar can be as vivid blue as the Caribbean Ocean itself.  This is a particularly nice example, that makes me think of beautiful summer days by the water.

I think this stone would look fantastic if it were mounted on a pierced 14k white gold background so that the texture can show through the stone to accentuate the colors.  Let me know if this idea interests you!
